The State of Utah Insurance Department Fraud Division is recruiting for two vacant Investigator III positions. This is a LEO POST certified position. Salary Range: $26.72 – $47.23/hour (The IFD anticipates converting investigators to a competitive step pay plan beginning in March – April of 2024. Lateral hires will be placed in the appropriate step of the pay plan based on their years of law enforcement experience. Further details will be available to those who are selected for an interview.)
These are full-time career service positions with benefits.
Our office is located at 1385 South State Street, Salt Lake City. While a majority of investigations occur along the Wasatch Front, investigators should anticipate occasional travel to other areas of the state for their investigations as well as some out of state travel for training.
