DAY 1: GROUND S.E.R.E . (Survive, Evade, Resist, Escape)
This phase of the TRICOM Ground program focuses on the most important things an Operator should understand and be trained in with regards to being on the ground. This includes:
· Evading attempts to take the Operator down through footwork, the first line of defense.
· Resisting attempts to take the Operator to the ground through sprawling drills, the last line of defense.
· Surviving the ground when the Operator finds themselves in common ground positions.
· Escaping the ground, and moving to more mobile positions.
DAY 2: GROUND CnC (Control and Custody)
This phase focuses on situations where it might be viable to remain engaged with a subject on the ground, then transitioning to dominant positions on the ground where a subject can be effectively controlled, then taken safely into custody. This will include 2, 3 and 4 man team tactics.
