Participants will learn about the components of psychological first aid and stress debriefings, including Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM). They will learn how to best help themselves and their coworkers following a potentially traumatizing event (PTE) utilizing a variety of post critical incident intervention techniques and debriefing models.

This training will focus on identifying peers’ stress levels, having difficult conversations with peers, coordinating higher levels of care or provision of resources for peers.

This training will focus on advanced peer support including suicide prevention. This course will cover developing a plan with a peer who may be at risk for suicide and how to best support them following a crisis. *Requires a previous peer training class*
